DLG-Feldtage 2016: Results of a survey of exhibitors

(DLG). DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society) commissioned the firm Wissler & Partner Trade Fair Marketing from Basle to conduct a representative survey of the exhibitors at DLG-Feldtage 2016. All the exhibitors were included in this survey on Thursday, 16 June 2016. Responses from 228 exhibitors were available for the analysis.
 
Overall result of the participation in DLG-Feldtage 2016:
77 %    of the exhibitors reported a positive overall result of their
             participation at the close of the event
(2014:   93 %)
              42 % very good and good (           67 %)
              35 % satisfactory (           26 %)
23 %    less satisfactory (             7 %)
 
Assessment of the number of visitors:
78 %    of the exhibitors assessed the number of visitors on their
             stands/plots positively
(2014:   79 %)
            48 % very good and good (           47 %)
            30 % satisfactory (           32 %)
 
Assessment of visitor quality:
93 %    of the exhibitors assessed the technical expertise of the visitors
             positively
(2014:   98 %)
             69 % very good/good (           73 %)
             24 % satisfactory (           25 %)
 

Assessment of contacts with new customers:
77 %    of the exhibitors assessed contacts with new customers positively (2014:   80 %)
            42 % very good/good t (           29 %)
            35 % satisfactory (           51 %)
 
Intention to participate in the DLG-Feldtage 2018 in Bernburg-Strenzfeld:
38 %    yes, definitely (2014:   43 %)
35 %    yes, perhaps (           40 %)
15 %    undecided (           12 %)
  8 %    no, probably not (             3 %)
  2 %    no, definitely not (             1 %)
  2 %    no response (             1 %)
