Meeting Point: Resilient Agricultural Systems

Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE)

"Conserving resources – securing the future"

With the slogan “Conserving resources – securing the future” the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) will be presenting itself at the DLG Feldtage 2026 with activities and topics related to resilient cultivation systems. The BLE is the central co-design and implementation authority of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Regional Identity (BMLEH).

The focus is on solutions to key challenges in crop production: adaptation to climate change, conservation of natural resources, preservation of biodiversity, and use of digital technologies. As a project sponsor, the BLE supports research and innovation projects from the idea stage to practical implementation.

At the field days, the BLE offers insights into its work and invites visitors to engage in professional exchange. Its goal is to put knowledge to effective use – for agriculture with a future.

The Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE) is a federal authority. It has around 1,800 employees throughout Germany and at sea. The BLE performs a wide range of tasks in the areas of agriculture, fisheries and food. As the central implementing authority, it is part of the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Rural Affairs (BMLEH).

As a project management agency for the BMLEH, it oversees numerous national and international research projects in the fields of agriculture and food.
